There is so much to discover in the area around Den Bosch. You can wander through the picturesque streets and alleyways of the fortified town of Heusden, or visit the fairy-tale world of one of Europe's best theme parks (the ‘Efteling') with the kids. In less than 60 minutes from the centre of Den Bosch you will find beautiful places to hike (for example the ‘Loonse en Drunense Duinen’) or places where you can go back in time and discover the world of Vincent van Gogh.

Almost all fairy tales have one, a real castle that is, and in Brabant there are lots of castles to visit!
Van Gogh’s masterpieces can been seen throughout the whole world, but their roots are in Brabant. Vincent van Gogh produced his first masterpiece ‘The Potato Eaters’ here in Brabant and he left his mark in places like Zundert, Nuenen, Tilburg, Etten-Leur and Den Bosch. You can see the house where he was born, his younger brother’s grave, his art class at school, the parsonage and several churches where his father worked. Het Noordbrabants Museum in Den Bosch has several original works by Van Gogh.
Within a 60 minute drive you will find fantastic theme parks worth visiting with the whole family. Take a safari and come face-to-face with wild animals at the Beekse Bergen safari park, or discover a world of wonders at the ‘Efteling’ theme park.Attractions in Brabant that are worth visiting!
